Monday: Business Lunch or Lunch Date

What to wear for a hot "lunch date?"
Akris top, Carolina Herrera pencil skirt, Louboutin pumps, Chanel purse, complete with a (Hermes bracelet over) Hermes scarf.

  1. You can't wear that to business meeting. Take a look at that high slits skirt.

  2. There is no doubt you are really pretty, but I agree that this look sends all the wrong messages. I would make a few minor tweaks. I think the combo of the extremely fitted skirt (which is adorbs, btw) and the illusion top are not office appropriate. I would pick a top that was a bit more conservative: with sleeves and not as low cut looking. Maybe a cute crisp white shirt tucked in? Something edgy but not so over the top. The shoes seem a little high, I usually keep it at 4 inches max, even for a shorty like myself.

Unless you were meeting a boyfriend for a lunchtime "date", this look would give the wrong message and make many men uncomfortable.

    1. You look great and I really love your style so much! May I have few questions for you?
      1. Is your style influenced by anyone?
      2. What is your favourite brand and why?
Thank you Mandy and best wishes to you!

    2. Thanks Veronica.
I am not quite sure if my style is being influenced by anyone. I just like to be dressy all the time. I have many favorite brands: Valentino, Oscar de La Renta, Lanvin, Roland Mouret, Giambattista Valli, Jason Wu, Donna Karan, Prada... I only spend money on designers clothes because of the fabrics and the structural designs.

  3. I love this look! I think it's looks really good, but if you're trying to complete a business lunch I would throw a blazer over it. You look hot though!
